Lavaridge Town is home to the Fire-type Gym. After defeating Flannery, you'll finally be able to challenge your father, Norman, in Petalburg City. This means a bit of backtracking, but it's a crucial step. Make sure your team is well-prepared for both Gyms, as they present different challenges. You'll need HM04 (Strength) to access Norman's Gym.
