Norman, your father, is a Normal-type Gym Leader. His team includes Slaking, Vigoroth, and Linoone. Fighting-type moves are super effective. Be wary of Slaking's Truant ability, which makes it skip every other turn. Use this to your advantage to set up or switch. Defeating Norman earns you the Balance Badge and TM42 (Facade). This badge allows you to use HM03 (Surf) outside of battle.
