Blaine is the Fire-type Gym Leader. His team consists of a Level 42 Growlithe, a Level 42 Ponyta, a Level 47 Rapidash, and a Level 47 Arcanine. All are weak to Water, Ground, and Rock-type moves. A strong Water-type Pokémon like Vaporeon, Gyarados, or your Blastoise will dominate this battle. Ground-types like Rhydon or Golem are also excellent choices. Be wary of their high Attack and Speed. Focus on super-effective moves to quickly extinguish their flames.
