Psychic and Ground-type Pokémon are highly effective against his team, which includes Koffing, Weezing, and Muk. Be wary of their status-inflicting moves like Poison. Defeat Koga to earn the Soul Badge and TM06 (Toxic). This badge also allows you to use HM03 (Surf) outside of battle.
