Route 8, 7 & Celadon City
Upon departing Lavender Town, your next destination lies to the west, on Route 8. This stretch of Kanto is notable for its abundance of trainers, presenting ample opportunities to gain experience and level up your Pokémon before proceeding. As you navigate Route 8, you will discover another Underground Path. This particular path serves as a vital connector, linking Route 8 directly to Route 7. Following this Underground Path will ultimately lead you to the bustling metropolis of Celadon City.
The Underground Path itself is a straightforward, linear passage. There are no wild Pokémon encounters within its confines, making it a safe and efficient transit route. Upon emerging from the Underground Path, you will find yourself on Route 7. This route is relatively short and serves as the final approach to Celadon City. As you make your way through Route 7, be prepared for any remaining trainers who might wish to challenge you. Celadon City is a significant hub in Kanto, offering numerous facilities and key plot points, including the Celadon Gym and the Department Store, making it a crucial stop on your journey.
Before entering Celadon City, ensure your Pokémon are healed and your inventory is stocked.
