Welcome to Pewter City! Heal your Pokémon at the Pokémon Center. Before challenging the Gym, consider visiting the Pewter Museum of Science. The Gym Leader, Brock, specializes in Rock-type Pokémon. Grass and Water-type moves are super effective against Rock. If you chose Pikachu, its Quick Attack is not very effective. Consider catching a Bulbasaur or Squirtle if you haven't already, or training a Mankey (found on Route 3) for its Fighting-type moves. Defeat Brock to earn the Boulder Badge!
