Garchomp (Dragon/Ground)

  • Location: Wayward Cave (as Gible)
  • Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -Sp.Atk) or Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
  • Ability: Sand Veil (Increases evasion in a sandstorm)
  • Held Item: Choice Scarf, Life Orb, Yache Berry
  • Moveset: Dragon Claw / Outrage, Earthquake, Stone Edge / Fire Fang, Swords Dance / Crunch
  • Why: Pseudo-legendary with incredible Attack and Speed, fantastic STAB combination, essential for the Elite Four.
