- Explorer Kit: Allows access to the Grand Underground. Obtained in Eterna City.
- Bicycle: Increases movement speed. Obtained in Eterna City after Team Galactic event.
- Fashion Case: Allows participation in Pokémon Contests. Obtained in Jubilife City.
- Poffin Case: Stores Poffins for Pokémon Contests. Obtained in Hearthome City.
- SecretPotion: Cures the Psyduck blocking Route 210. Obtained from Cynthia.
- Storage Key: Unlocks Team Galactic HQ. Obtained in Veilstone City.
- Master Ball: Catches any Pokémon without fail. Obtained in Team Galactic HQ.
Hidden Machines (HMs):
- HM01 (Cut): Cuts down small trees. Obtained from Cynthia in Eterna City.
- HM02 (Fly): Allows instant travel to previously visited towns. Obtained in Team Galactic Warehouse in Veilstone City.
- HM03 (Surf): Allows crossing water. Obtained from Cynthia after curing Psyduck on Route 210.
- HM04 (Strength): Moves large boulders. Obtained from Cynthia's grandmother in Celestic Town.
- HM05 (Defog): Clears fog from battle and the overworld. Obtained in the Great Marsh.
- HM06 (Rock Smash): Breaks small rocks. Obtained from a hiker in Oreburgh Gate.
- HM07 (Waterfall): Allows climbing waterfalls. Obtained from Jasmine in Sunyshore City.
- HM08 (Rock Climb): Allows climbing rocky ledges. Obtained from a Hiker on Route 217.
HMs are crucial for exploration and progression. Remember that once an HM move is taught, it cannot be forgotten without the Move Deleter (in Canalave City).
