Strategy: Roark's Pokémon are all weak to Water and Grass-type moves. If you have Piplup or Turtwig, they will be your MVPs. Chimchar users should rely on a strong fighting-type move (if learned) or a Pokémon like Budew/Roselia or Psyduck. Cranidos has high Attack, so be wary of its Headbutt. Focus on super-effective moves and keep your Pokémon healed with Potions. After defeating Roark, you'll receive the Coal Badge, allowing you to use Rock Smash outside of battle, and TM76 (Stealth Rock).
