Pokémon Contests are a fun alternative to battles, focusing on your Pokémon's aesthetic appeal and performance. You can participate in Contests at the Contest Hall in Hearthome City after receiving the Fashion Case. There are four categories: Cool, Beauty, Cute, and Smart, and four ranks: Normal, Super, Hyper, and Master.
- Condition: Boost your Pokémon's condition in each category by feeding them Poffins (made in Hearthome City).
- Accessories: Dress up your Pokémon with various accessories to earn points in the Visual Competition.
- Moves: Each move has a Contest effect. Choose moves that chain well together or disrupt opponents.
Winning Contests earns you Ribbons, and winning all Master Rank Contests with a single Pokémon earns you a special Ribbon. It's a great way to bond with your Pokémon and show off their non-battle talents.
