The Capture Styler is your most important piece of equipment. It's a sophisticated device that allows you to temporarily befriend wild Pokémon by drawing circles around them. Its performance is directly tied to its three main stats:
- Styler Power: Determines how much damage each circle you draw inflicts on a Pokémon's capture line. Higher power means fewer circles are needed for a capture.
- Styler Energy: Represents the Styler's battery life during a capture. Each time a Pokémon breaks your line or you lift your stylus, energy is consumed. If it reaches zero, your Styler breaks, and the capture fails.
- Styler Charge: Affects how quickly your Styler recharges its energy after a capture attempt (successful or failed). A faster charge means less downtime between attempts.
These stats can be upgraded by increasing your Ranger Rank and visiting Professor Hastings. Prioritize Styler Power for faster captures and Styler Energy for more forgiving attempts against powerful Pokémon.
