As You character, your primary role is to be a skilled Pokémon Ranger. Your abilities are directly tied to your Ranger Rank and the upgrades you receive for your Capture Styler. There are no inherent stat differences based on your chosen gender.
- Ranger Rank: This is your primary progression metric. Higher ranks unlock Styler upgrades, new missions, and access to more powerful Field Moves. You gain Ranger Points by completing missions and side quests.
- Capture Styler: Your most important tool. Upgrading its Power, Energy, and Charge is paramount. Focus on these upgrades as soon as they become available from Professor Hastings.
- Strategic Thinking: Your 'build' as a Ranger is less about stats and more about your ability to choose the right Pokémon for the job. Always consider the Field Moves required for obstacles and the types of Pokémon that will be most effective in a capture.
