Roxanne uses two Pokémon:
- Geodude (Level 12): Rock/Ground type. Weak to Water and Grass. Has high Defense.
- Nosepass (Level 15): Rock type. Weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel. Has extremely high Defense.
Strategy: If you have a Water or Grass-type Pokémon (Mudkip, Treecko, Lotad, Marill), use their STAB moves. Even a low-level one can be effective. If you chose Torchic, evolving it into Combusken (Level 16) will give it Fighting-type moves, which are super effective against Rock. Otherwise, consider catching a Makuhita on Route 116 (after the Team Aqua/Magma event) and training it. Nosepass's 'Rock Tomb' lowers your Speed, so try to take it out quickly. Don't be afraid to use Potions to keep your Pokémon healthy. Focus on super-effective attacks to minimize the number of turns.
