Secret Bases are hidden spots throughout Hoenn where you can create your own personalized hideout. You'll need the HM01 Cut or HM06 Rock Smash to access most of them, and the TM43 Secret Power (given by a man on Route 111) to create one. Once you've established a base, you can decorate it with various items purchased from the Lilycove Department Store or found throughout the region. You can also link up with other players via a Game Boy Advance Link Cable to visit their Secret Bases and even battle their teams (represented by dolls). Secret Bases offer a unique way to express your creativity and interact with friends, providing a personal touch to your Hoenn adventure. Collecting all the decorations can be a fun side challenge.
