Articuno, the legendary Ice-type bird, is hidden within the Valley course, encased in ice.
Strategy:
- Find the Ice Block: As you navigate the main canyon area of the Valley, look to your right for a large, distinctive block of ice.
- Break the Ice: Throw Pester Balls at the ice block. It's quite durable and will require several direct hits to shatter.
- Articuno's Release: Once the ice breaks, Articuno will fly out, circling the area.
- Photography: Like the other legendary birds, Articuno is a fast-moving target. Take multiple photos as it flies. Try to get it centered and filling the frame. Using an Apple might briefly distract it for a better shot.
Reward: Photographing Articuno completes another entry in your Pokémon Report and boosts your course score.
