Moltres is the legendary Fire-type bird found in the Volcano course. Its appearance is tied to a large, mysterious egg.
Strategy:
- Locate the Egg: Towards the end of the Volcano course, you'll see a large, glowing egg resting in a lava pool.
- Hatch the Egg: Throw Pester Balls at the egg repeatedly. It will take several direct hits to crack and eventually hatch.
- Moltres Flies: Once hatched, Moltres will emerge and fly majestically around the volcanic chamber.
- Photography: This is your window to get photos. Moltres moves quickly, so be ready to snap multiple shots. Aim for centered, full-body photos as it soars. Throwing an Apple might make it briefly slow down or change direction.
Reward: A good photo of Moltres adds it to your Pokémon Report and contributes significantly to your course score.
