Zapdos is the first legendary Pokémon you'll encounter. It's found in the Tunnel course and requires a specific environmental interaction to reveal.
Strategy:
- Electrode Chain Reaction: As you enter the main cavern, you'll see several Electrode. Throw Pester Balls at them in quick succession to make them explode. Start with the one closest to the track on your left.
- Path Cleared: Successfully exploding all Electrode will clear a rockslide, revealing a new path and a large, glowing egg.
- Zapdos Emerges: The egg will hatch, and Zapdos will fly out. It will circle the area for a short time.
- Photography: Focus on getting multiple shots of Zapdos as it flies. Aim for centered, full-body shots. Throwing an Apple near it might make it briefly pause or change its flight path, offering better angles.
Reward: Successfully photographing Zapdos unlocks the Pokémon Flute, a crucial item for later courses.
