Elite Four and Champion

The culmination of your journey through the Alola region is the ultimate test of your training prowess: the Elite Four and the Champion. This gauntlet comprises four exceptionally skilled trainers, each specializing in a different Pokémon type, followed by the reing Champion, whose team is a formidable display of diverse and powerful Pokémon. The Elite Four members you will face are Hala (Fighting-type), Olivia (Rock-type), Acerola (Ghost-type), and Kahili (Flying-type). To successfully navigate this challenge, it is imperative to build a team with strong counters for each of their specialties. For Hala, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-types are effective. Olivia's Rock-types are vulnerable to Water, Grass, Fighting, and Ground-type moves. Acerola's Ghost-types can be countered by Dark and Ghost-type moves, though Dark-types are immune to Ghost attacks. Kahili's Flying-types are weak to Rock, Electric, and Ice-type attacks. The Champion's team is varied and powerful, often featuring a mix of strong offensive and defensive Pokémon, requiring a well-rounded team with broad type coverage. Ensuring your Pokémon are at a high level, ideally around level 50-60 or higher for the Elite Four, and have access to several powerful moves is essential. Strategic use of held items like Leftovers or Choice Scarf, and potentially Z-Moves, can provide the edge needed to overcome these elite trainers and claim the title of Alola Champion.
