Zygarde Cells and Cores
Scattered across the diverse landscapes of Alola are the elusive Zygarde Cells and Zygarde Cores. These mysterious fragments are remnants of the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde, and collecting them is essential for reconstructing Zygarde itself. Throughout your adventures, keep a vigilant eye out for these glowing green orbs, which can be found in various locations, from grassy fields and caves to underwater areas and even within towns.
There are a total of 100 Zygarde Cells and 5 Zygarde Cores to discover across all the islands. Once you have gathered a sufficient number of these fragments, you can take them to the Aether House located on Ula'ula Island. Here, a scientist will assist you in assembling Zygarde. The number of Cells and Cores you collect determines which form Zygarde takes upon assembly: Zygarde 10% Form, Zygarde 50% Form, or the powerful Zygarde Complete Form. Each form possesses different stats and abilities, offering unique strategic advantages.
The process of collecting all 100 Cells and 5 Cores is a significant undertaking that encourages thorough exploration of Alola. Some Cells are hidden in plain sight, while others require the use of Ride Pokémon or specific in-game events to access. The Zygarde Cores are rarer and often found in more secluded or challenging locations. Successfully assembling Zygarde, especially in its Complete Form, rewards players with one of the most powerful Pokémon in the game, capable of dominating battles. This collection quest serves as an excellent post-game activity, encouraging players to revisit areas they may have overlooked during their initial playthrough.
