Sophocles' trial at Mount Hokulani offers a unique blend of puzzle-solving and combat, centered around the fascinating world of Electric-type Pokémon. The trial begins with a quiz where you must correctly answer questions related to Pokémon sounds. Paying close attention to the audio cues and the Pokémon associated with them is essential for progressing through this segment. This part of the trial tests your auditory perception and knowledge of Pokémon characteristics.
Following the quiz, you will face the Totem Pokémon of Mount Hokulani: Vikavolt. This Electric/Bug-type Pokémon is a powerful special attacker, capable of dishing out significant damage. Vikavolt is particularly weak to Fire and Rock-type moves, which are its primary vulnerabilities. However, trainers should be cautious of its high Special Attack stat and its ability to call for assistance from its ally, Charjabug. Charjabug, while not as offensively threatening, can bolster Vikavolt's defenses or provide other support, making it important to deal with it promptly.
Ground-type Pokémon are also an excellent choice for this battle, as they are immune to Electric-type attacks, which Vikavolt heavily relies on.
