Dynamax Adventures Guide
Dynamax Adventures are a core feature of the Crown Tundra DLC, offering a challenging and rewarding cooperative experience. These adventures take place in Max Lairs, where you and up to three other players will embark on a series of battles against Dynamaxed Pokémon. The goal is to progress through a network of paths, defeating each wild Dynamax Pokémon you encounter. After each battle, you'll have the option to catch the Pokémon. If you choose to catch it, it will join your team for the remainder of the adventure. If you fail to catch it, you'll have to let it go.
The ultimate prize in a Dynamax Adventure is the chance to encounter and catch a legendary Pokémon at the end of the path. These legendary Pokémon are significantly more powerful and require a well-coordinated team to defeat. Success in Dynamax Adventures relies heavily on teamwork and strategic Pokémon selection. It's crucial to have a diverse team with good type coverage, as you'll face several opponents. Pay attention to the Pokémon your teammates choose and try to complement their strengths. The rental Pokémon system allows you to use powerful Pokémon even if you haven't caught them yourself, but understanding their move sets and typings is essential.
After each Dynamax Adventure, you'll receive rewards based on your performance, including valuable items and BP (Battle Points). BP can be used to purchase powerful items and TMs from vendors within the Max Lair. Mastering Dynamax Adventures is key to completing your Pokédex and obtaining some of the most sought-after Pokémon in the game.
