It offers strong area-of-effect crowd control and can be a formidable presence in team fights. Blastoise can initiate or follow up on engages effectively. Held Items often include Buddy Barrier, Focus Band, and Wise Glasses to balance its defensive capabilities with its Special Attack. Eject Button or X Speed are good Battle Item choices.
