At the beginning of your journey, Professor Sycamore will offer you a choice of three starter Pokémon: Chespin (Grass), Fennekin (Fire), or Froakie (Water). Each has unique strengths and weaknesses, and their final evolutions boast powerful abilities. Consider your preferred playstyle and the early gym leaders' types when making your decision. Chespin is strong against Rock, Fennekin against Grass, and Froakie against Fire. There's no wrong choice, but some might offer an easier early game.
