Professor Sycamore is the regional Pokémon Professor, a charismatic and knowledgeable figure who guides you throughout your journey. He's unique in that he battles you and gives you a second starter Pokémon. The eight Gym Leaders each specialize in a specific Pokémon type and serve as benchmarks for your progress. Learning their types and strategies is key to earning all eight badges. They are Viola (Bug), Grant (Rock), Korrina (Fighting), Ramos (Grass), Clemont (Electric), Valerie (Fairy), Olympia (Psychic), and Wulfric (Ice).
