The Elite Four are the final challenge before becoming the Pokémon League Champion. You must defeat all four members and then the Champion in a single run without healing at a Pokémon Center. Stock up on Full Restores, Max Potions, and Revives!
Lorelei (Ice/Water):
- Pokémon: Dewgong (Lvl 54), Cloyster (Lvl 53), Slowbro (Lvl 54), Jynx (Lvl 56), Lapras (Lvl 56)
- Strategy: Electric and Grass-types are strong against her Water/Ice team. Jolteon, Venusaur, or Zapdos are excellent choices. Fighting and Rock moves also work well against Ice.
Bruno (Fighting/Rock):
- Pokémon: Onix (Lvl 53), Hitmonchan (Lvl 55), Hitmonlee (Lvl 55), Onix (Lvl 56), Machamp (Lvl 58)
- Strategy: Psychic and Flying-types are super effective against Fighting. Water and Grass work against Onix. Alakazam, Pidgeot, or Lapras are good options.
Agatha (Ghost/Poison):
- Pokémon: Gengar (Lvl 56), Golbat (Lvl 56), Haunter (Lvl 55), Arbok (Lvl 58), Gengar (Lvl 60)
- Strategy: Psychic-types are strong against her Ghost/Poison team. Ground-types are also effective against Poison. Alakazam, Dugtrio, or Rhydon are good choices. Be careful of Gengar's 'Confuse Ray'.
Lance (Dragon):
- Pokémon: Gyarados (Lvl 59), Dragonair (Lvl 56), Dragonair (Lvl 56), Aerodactyl (Lvl 60), Dragonite (Lvl 62)
- Strategy: Ice-type moves are 4x super effective against Dragonite and Dragonair. Electric is good against Gyarados and Aerodactyl. Lapras with 'Ice Beam' is a must-have. Jolteon or Zapdos are also excellent.
Champion: Blue (Your Rival):
- Pokémon: Pidgeot (Lvl 61), Alakazam (Lvl 59), Rhydon (Lvl 61), Arcanine (Lvl 61), Exeggutor (Lvl 61), Blastoise (Lvl 63) (Team varies slightly based on your starter)
- Strategy: Blue has a very balanced team. You'll need a diverse team of your own. Electric for Pidgeot and Blastoise. Water/Grass for Arcanine and Rhydon. Bug/Ghost for Alakazam. Fire/Ice for Exeggutor. This is the ultimate test of your team-building and battle skills.
