  • Alakazam (Abra/Kadabra - Trade): If you can trade, Alakazam is one of the fastest and most powerful Special Attackers in the game, with access to Psychic-type moves.
  • Arcanine (Growlithe - Fire Stone): A fast and powerful Fire-type with high Attack and Special Attack. Can learn 'Extreme Speed' via breeding in later generations, but still strong in Yellow.
  • Gyarados (Magikarp - Level 20): Magikarp evolves into the mighty Gyarados. A Water/Flying type with high Attack, capable of learning 'Hydro Pump' and 'Hyper Beam'.
  • Jolteon (Eevee - Thunder Stone): If you chose Jolteon, its incredible speed and Special Attack make it a fantastic Electric-type attacker for the Elite Four.
  • Rhydon (Rhyhorn - Level 42): A Ground/Rock type with immense Attack and Defense. Can learn 'Earthquake' and 'Rock Slide', making it a physical powerhouse.
  • Venusaur/Charizard/Blastoise (Trade): While you don't get these starters in Yellow, if you can trade them from Red/Blue, they are excellent choices for their respective types.

Ensure your team is around Level 50-60 before challenging the Elite Four. Grind experience on Victory Road and against trainers on the various routes.
