The Cipher Admins are a series of challenging boss encounters that stand between you and the unraveling of Cipher's sinister plot. Each Admin commands a unique team of Pokémon, often including powerful Shadow Pokémon, and employs distinct battle strategies. To overcome them, you'll need to adapt your team composition and battle tactics accordingly. A general strategy for most Admins involves exploiting their Pokémon's type weaknesses, utilizing status conditions, and carefully managing your own Pokémon's HP and PP.
Pay close attention to the Pokémon each Admin uses and their potential movesets. For instance, an Admin who relies heavily on Special Attackers might be vulnerable to Pokémon with high Special Defense or those that can inflict status conditions. Conversely, a physically oriented Admin might be susceptible to Pokémon with high Defense or moves that lower their Attack. The presence of Shadow Pokémon adds another layer of difficulty; remember that they have a unique Shadow Rush move and are resistant to certain effects until purified. Snagging these Shadow Pokémon can be a viable strategy, but it requires careful planning and execution. Always be prepared with a diverse team and a good supply of healing items before confronting any Cipher Admin.
