Purification Herbs & Items
Purification is a core mechanic in Pokémon Colosseum, directly tied to the Shadow Pokémon you'll be snagging. Shadow Pokémon are afflicted with a condition that amplifies their aggression and prevents them from gaining experience or evolving. To cleanse them and restore them to their true selves, you must purify them. This process is facilitated by various items, with "Purification Herbs" being a key component. While there isn't a direct "crafting" of these herbs, they are essential for the purification process. Understanding how to acquire and use them is paramount for building a strong team of purified Pokémon.
The primary way to purify Shadow Pokémon is by using the Purification Chamber located in Agate Village. This chamber requires a certain amount of "Heart Gauge" to be filled for each Pokémon. Filling the Heart Gauge is achieved through various actions, including battling with the Shadow Pokémon, walking with them in your party, and using specific items. While Purification Herbs themselves don't directly fill the Heart Gauge, they are often associated with the overall process of cleansing and restoring Shadow Pokémon. Keep an eye out for items that might aid in this process, as a fully purified Pokémon is sificantly more powerful and capable of evolving.
