System Requirements & GameCube Setup — Pokémon Champions Guide

Learn the system requirements for Pokémon Colosseum, including GameCube console setup and necessary AV cables for optimal play on your television.

Pokémon Colosseum is exclusively available on the Nintendo GameCube. To play, you will need a functional GameCube console. Ensure your console is connected to a television using the appropriate AV cables (Composite, S-Video, or Component cables for higher quality). A stable power source for the console is also essential. The game does not require any online connectivity or specific internet setup, making it a self-contained experience.

For optimal gameplay and to save your progress, you will need a GameCube Memory Card. A standard 59-block memory card is sufficient for saving your game data. Insert the memory card into Slot A of your GameCube. If you intend to engage in trading or battling with other players, you will require a Game Boy Advance, a Game Boy Advance Link Cable, and a compatible Pokémon game on the Game Boy Advance (such as Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, or LeafGreen). This setup allows for inter-generational Pokémon transfer and battles.
