Character Progression — Post Trauma Guide

Advance Roman's journey in Post Trauma through key items and choices. Progress involves Mobile Phone acquisition and solving puzzles, not traditional leveling.

Character Progression

Character progression in Post Trauma is tied to Roman's journey through the game's acts, acquiring key items, and making choices that influence the narrative. Roman's abilities and inventory expand as he navigates environments and solves puzzles, rather than through traditional leveling or skill trees.

Key progression points include:

  • Mobile Phone Acquisition: Roman receives the Mobile Phone after a cutscene near a gate in the School's Courtyard. This item is crucial for advancing.
  • Maze Navigation and Key Collection: In Act 4's Underground Maze, Roman must find two keys located in the southwest and northwest portions of the maze. These keys unlock a door on the west side of the middle portion of the maze, allowing further progression.
  • Subway Train Control: In Act 5, Roman controls a subway train, where his actions (speeding up or slowing down) directly determine the game's ending (Ending A if Jill is killed, Ending B if Jill is saved).
  • Final Boss Encounter: The final battle against the "Abomination" in a circular arena is presented as a puzzle rather than a direct combat challenge. Roman, along with Freya, must work together, switching characters by tapping the RB button when Roman holds a lever. This indicates a progression in strategic gameplay and character interaction.

Progression is less about stat increases and more about story advancement, puzzle-solving, and impactful decisions.
