Efficient Exploration in the Underground Maze

Navigating the Underground Maze in Act 4 requires careful use of the provided map. The map, located on the wall between a radio and an item box in an orange-lit area, is crucial for finding your way. It displays walls in white and corridors as the spaces between them, with your entrance portal in the southeast. Two keys are essential for progression, marked with key symbols on the map: one in the southwest and another in the northwest. These keys unlock a door on the west side of the maze's middle portion.

Other points of interest on the map include:

  • A Used Tape icon in the northeast.
  • Question marks (?) indicating areas with special objects, though not all are labeled.
  • Your current location, marked by both map and radio symbols on the east side of the middle portion.

When you first enter the maze, run toward the light in the tunnel ahead. Do not go left at the first turn; proceed straight to find the map and other useful items.
