Slow Time (Dilate)

Another potent ability granted by the Dagger of Time is the power to Slow Time, known as Dilate. When activated, the world around the Prince slows to a crawl, while he retains his normal speed. This is invaluable for navigating complex platforming sequences with precise timing, such as running across crumbling platforms or dodging rapid-fire projectiles. In combat, Dilate allows you to weave through enemy attacks, position yourself for critical strikes, or escape overwhelming odds. Like Rewind, this ability consumes Sand, so its use should be strategic. Mastering the application of Dilate can make seemingly impossible challenges manageable and add a strategic layer to combat encounters.
