Objective: Defeat O with Skill Battle rules. This is your first taste of Skill Battle. O has a basic attack and defense, but nothing too challenging. Focus on clearing Puyo or Tetriminos to fill your MP gauge. Once full, activate your character's skill (usually by pressing the designated skill button, often X or Y). Ringo's initial skill might be a Puyo clear, while Tee's could be a Tetris line clear. Use these skills strategically to deal damage to O's HP bar. block incoming attacks if you have a defensive skill. Winning this battle unlocks the Skill Battle tutorial.
