Episode 2: Save the Crew of the Teto

Welcome back, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 adventurers! Episode 2 kicks off with a new mystery and a new set of challenges. Our goal here is to rescue the missing crew members of the Teto. This episode introduces some fun new mechanics and a few tricky opponents, so let's get started!

Stage 2-1: The Search Begins

  • Objective: Defeat O.
  • Location: Teto's Bridge.
  • Strategy: O is a relatively straightforward opponent. Focus on building up your chains in Puyo Puyo or clearing multiple lines in Tetris. Don't be afraid to use your Skill Battle abilities if you're playing that mode. If you're struggling, try to set up a 4-chain Puyo or a Tetris (4-line clear) early to put pressure on O.
  • Reward: 1000 Credits.

Stage 2-2: Strange Signals

  • Objective: Defeat S.
  • Location: Teto's Engine Room.
  • Strategy: S introduces a slightly more aggressive playstyle. Pay attention to their garbage attacks. For Puyo Puyo, try to counter their garbage by sending your own back quickly. In Tetris, be ready to clear lines to dig yourself out of trouble. This is a good stage to practice T-Spins if you're comfortable with them, as they send a lot of garbage.
  • Reward: 1200 Credits, Attack Up S Skill Card.

Stage 2-3: The First Crewmate

  • Objective: Rescue Tee.
  • Location: Teto's Cargo Bay.
  • Boss Battle: Ex vs. Tee (AI Controlled). Your role here is to support Tee by clearing your own board and sending garbage to Ex.
  • Strategy: This is a unique stage! You're not directly fighting Ex. Instead, you need to clear your board efficiently to send garbage to Ex, helping Tee win their battle. Focus on quick, consistent clears. If playing Puyo Puyo, aim for 2-3 chains. In Tetris, prioritize single or double line clears to keep the pressure on Ex. Don't let your board fill up, as that will hinder Tee's progress.
  • Reward: Tee joins your party! 1500 Credits.

Stage 2-4: The Missing Navigator

  • Objective: Defeat Ai.
  • Location: Teto's Navigation Deck.
  • Strategy: Ai is a bit more challenging than previous opponents. They often build up larger chains or clear multiple lines at once. This is where your Skill Battle abilities can really shine. Consider using the Attack Up S card you just acquired to boost your damage. If playing Puyo Puyo, try to set up a large chain (4-5) to overwhelm Ai. In Tetris, focus on continuous line clears and look for opportunities to perform Tetrises.
  • Reward: 1800 Credits, Defense Up S Skill Card.

Stage 2-5: The Final Crewmate

  • Objective: Rescue Jay & Elle.
  • Location: Teto's Observation Deck.
  • Boss Battle: Squares vs. Jay & Elle (AI Controlled). Similar to Stage 2-3, you need to support Jay & Elle.
  • Strategy: This battle is against Squares, who can be quite formidable. Your goal is to clear your board and send garbage to Squares to help Jay & Elle win. Squares tends to send a lot of garbage, so be prepared to dig yourself out. In Puyo Puyo, try to build up a quick 3-chain to counter their attacks. In Tetris, focus on clearing lines as fast as possible, even if they are singles. Keeping your board clear is paramount here.
  • Reward: Jay & Elle join your party! 2000 Credits, Skill Card Slot +1.
