Phases & Strategy:

  1. Phase 1: The Chase Begins
    • El Stomacho will emerge from the sand and begin chasing you from the left. Immediately start running right.
    • You'll encounter crumbling platforms, quicksand pits, and obstacles. Maintain your speed and jump precisely.
    • The goal is to reach a section with large, hanging stalactites or similar environmental hazards.
  2. Phase 2: Environmental Damage
    • When you reach the designated area, El Stomacho will try to eat you. As he lunges, jump onto a platform that causes a stalactite to fall onto his head.
    • This will stun him briefly. Use this opportunity to run past him or to a new section.
    • Repeat this process, leading him to another environmental trap (e.g., a giant rolling boulder, a collapsing structure).
  3. Phase 3: Final Blow
    • After several hits from environmental hazards, El Stomacho will be severely weakened.
    • The final section will usually involve a large, obvious trap (like a giant bell or a massive rock). Lure him into this final trap.
    • Once he's caught, perform a finishing move (often a ground pound on a switch or a series of punches) to defeat him.

Rewards:

  • Defeating El Stomacho will rescue the Nymph Holly Luya, who grants you the 'Wall Jump' ability.
  • You'll also receive Lums and Electoons.
