The User Interface in Rayman Origins is minimalistic, allowing you to focus on the vibrant visuals and fast-paced action. However, understanding the key elements on screen will help you track your progress, manage your health, and identify important collectibles. The UI provides all the necessary information without cluttering your view.

In-Game HUD
- Lums Counter (Top Left): Displays the total number of Lums you've collected in the current level. Collecting 100 Lums grants you a Lum King, which doubles the value of all Lums for a short period.
- Electoon Counter (Top Right): Shows how many Electoons you've rescued in the current level. Electoons are crucial for unlocking new worlds and levels.
- Health Bar (Character Specific): In co-op, each character has a small health indicator. Taking damage will cause you to inflate and float away, requiring a teammate to pop you back into action. In solo play, one hit usually means a restart from the last checkpoint.
- Score (End of Level): After completing a level, a summary screen will display your total Lums, Electoons, and time, contributing to your overall score and unlocking rewards.
Pause Menu
- Resume Game: Returns you to the action.
- Restart Level: Starts the current level from the beginning.
- Options: Adjust game settings like audio volume, display, and controls.
- Exit Level: Returns you to the world map.
