This level introduces the first flying sequence where you ride a Moskito. These sections are a change of pace from traditional platforming, focusing on shooting and dodging. Your Moskito can shoot projectiles and inhale enemies/Lums. The goal is to clear a path, collect Lums, and defeat larger enemies. Pay attention to the patterns of incoming projectiles and environmental hazards. Mastering the Moskito controls is key to surviving these aerial challenges.
Objectives:
- Collect 200 Lums.
- Rescue 2 Electoons.
- Defeat the boss at the end.
Walkthrough:
- Immediately after starting, you'll mount a Moskito.
- Use the left stick to move and the attack button to shoot.
- Shoot down incoming enemies and obstacles.
- Inhale Lums by holding the attack button near them.
- Dodge projectiles fired by larger enemies and environmental hazards like thorny vines.
- The first Electoon is usually found after a short flight segment, often by destroying a specific obstacle.
- Continue flying, navigating through tight spaces and avoiding walls.
- The second Electoon is typically awarded after defeating a mini-boss or a wave of tougher enemies.
- At the end of the level, you'll face a larger boss. Shoot its weak points (often glowing areas) while dodging its attacks.
