World 4: Ocean of Dreams
Welcome to the shimmering depths of the Ocean of Dreams! This aquatic world introduces new challenges, including underwater combat, currents, and tricky platforming with bouncy jellyfish. Mastering your swimming abilities and precise timing will be key to collecting all the Electoons and Lums here.Swimming with the Fishes
The Ocean of Dreams is your first true test of underwater navigation. Remember these crucial tips:- Hold the Jump button (A on Xbox 360, X on PS3) to swim upwards. Releasing it will cause you to slowly sink.
- Press the Attack button (X on Xbox 360, Square on PS3) to perform an underwater punch. This is your primary attack against aquatic enemies.
- Dash (RT on Xbox 360, R2 on PS3) underwater for a quick burst of speed. Useful for dodging enemies or navigating strong currents.
Level 4-1: Swimming with Stars
This introductory level eases you into the underwater mechanics. Focus on getting comfortable with swimming and basic attacks.Walkthrough:
- Start by swimming right. You'll encounter your first aquatic enemies, small, purple piranha-like creatures. Punch them to defeat them.
- Collect the trail of Lums leading downwards. You'll find your first Electoon Cage just below the surface. Break it open with a few punches.
- Continue right, navigating through gentle currents. You'll see glowing jellyfish. These are platforms! Bounce off them by swimming into them from below.
- After a series of jellyfish bounces, you'll reach a section with a strong upward current. Dash through it to reach a hidden alcove on the left, containing a Lum King.
- Proceed through a narrow passage guarded by more piranhas. On the other side, you'll find a large, stationary sea creature with a glowing weak point. Punch its weak point repeatedly to defeat it and reveal another Electoon Cage.
- The final stretch involves a chase sequence with a giant, hungry fish. Swim as fast as you can, dashing frequently, and avoid getting caught. Collect the last few Lums and reach the exit portal.

- Electoon Cage 1: Early in the level, just below the surface.
- Electoon Cage 2: After defeating the large stationary sea creature.
- Lum King 1: In a hidden alcove after the first strong upward current.
- Lum King 2: During the final chase sequence, often found in the main path.
Level 4-2: The Deep Depths
This level introduces more complex currents and enemies, including electric eels.Walkthrough:
- Begin by swimming downwards. Be wary of the electric eels; they emit a shockwave. Wait for the shockwave to dissipate before swimming past or quickly dashing through.
- You'll encounter a series of moving platforms that are actually large, friendly fish. Use them to navigate across gaps.
- Look for a hidden passage behind a waterfall of bubbles on the upper-right. This leads to a secret area with a Lum King and several Lums.
- Further on, you'll face a section with strong horizontal currents. Time your dashes carefully to avoid being pushed into spikes or enemies.
- One particularly tricky current will push you towards a wall of spikes. Immediately after entering this current, dash upwards and to the left to find a concealed Electoon Cage.
- Towards the end, you'll need to activate a switch by punching it, which opens a gate. Swim through quickly before it closes.

- Electoon Cage 2: After navigating a series of electric eels and moving fish platforms.
- Lum King 1: In a secret area behind a bubble waterfall.

Level 4-3: Electric Eel Escape
Prepare for a fast-paced level centered around avoiding electric eels and navigating tight spaces.Walkthrough:
- The level starts with a rapid descent through a tunnel filled with electric eels. Stay close to the walls and dash past them immediately after their shockwaves dissipate.
- Midway through, you'll enter a more open area. There's a Lum King guarded by a patrol of three electric eels. Time your approach carefully, or use a well-placed dash to grab it.
- You'll then encounter large, rotating platforms made of coral. These can crush you if you're not careful. Swim through the gaps when they align.
- After a series of rotating coral platforms, look for a small, dark alcove on the bottom-left. This contains a hidden Electoon Cage.
- The final challenge involves a gauntlet of electric eels and strong, fluctuating currents. Keep your finger ready on the dash button and prioritize evasion over collecting every Lum if you're struggling.

- Electoon Cage 1: In a small, dark alcove after the rotating coral platforms.
- Electoon Cage 2: Located in the main path during the final gauntlet of eels.
- Lum King 1: Guarded by three electric eels in an open area.
- Lum King 2: Found near the end of the level, often requiring a quick dash through danger.
Level 4-X: Electoon Chase! (Mosquito Ride)
This is a classic Mosquito ride level. You'll be flying through the Ocean of Dreams, shooting enemies and collecting Lums.Walkthrough:
- Your Mosquito will automatically fly forward. Use the left stick to move and the attack button to shoot.
- Shoot down all incoming enemies, which include flying piranhas and larger, stationary sea creatures that fire projectiles.
- Keep an eye out for chains of Lums. Flying through them without missing any will often reward you with a Lum King.
- There are often hidden paths or small detours that lead to more Lums or a secret Electoon Cage. Look for breaks in the main path or areas that seem unusually open.
- The Electoon Cage in this level is typically found by shooting a specific, slightly out-of-place object or by flying into a hidden tunnel. Pay close attention to the background and foreground for anything that looks destructible or accessible.
