Welcome to Ticklish Temples, a world filled with ancient traps, mischievous creatures, and some of the most challenging platforming in Rayman Origins! This guide will help you navigate its treacherous paths, collect every Electoon, and uncover all the secrets hidden within these hallowed grounds.

Level 7-1: Temple of Gloom

This introductory level sets the tone for the world, focusing on precise jumps and avoiding environmental hazards. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden passages!

  • First Area: Immediately after starting, jump across the crumbling platforms. You'll encounter your first set of Darktoons. Punch them quickly.
  • Electoon Cage 1: After a series of wall-jumps, you'll see a platform moving up and down. Time your jump to reach the ledge above, where the first Electoon Cage is located. Break it open with a punch.
  • Hidden Area (Skull Coin 1): Just past the first Electoon Cage, look for a seemingly solid wall on the right. Perform a ground pound near it to reveal a secret passage leading to a Skull Coin.
  • Second Area: You'll encounter new enemies here: the Spiky Golems. These enemies are invincible from the front; you must jump over them and attack from behind.
  • Electoon Cage 2: After navigating a section with several Spiky Golems and moving platforms, you'll reach a vertical shaft. Wall-jump up, and the cage will be on a small ledge to your left.
  • Lum Chain: A long chain of Lums can be found by performing a carefully timed dive-attack through a series of breakable blocks. This is crucial for reaching the Lum requirements.
  • Final Stretch: The last part of the level involves dodging falling debris and more Spiky Golems. Use your hover ability to extend jumps and avoid hazards.
  • Exit: The exit is straightforward, but make sure you've collected enough Lums to unlock the Lum King Crown if you're aiming for 100%.

Level 7-2: Perilous Plunge

Prepare for a vertical descent! This level tests your falling and gliding skills, with plenty of spikes and moving obstacles.

  • Initial Descent: The level begins with a long fall. Guide Rayman (or your character of choice) through the narrow gaps, collecting Lums as you go.
  • Electoon Cage 1: About a quarter of the way down, you'll see a small alcove to the right. Glide into it to find the first Electoon Cage. Be quick, as the screen continues to scroll!
  • Skull Coin 1: Further down, look for a section where the path splits. Take the left path, which is slightly more dangerous, to grab a Skull Coin.
  • Mid-Level Bubble: You'll eventually land on a solid platform with a bubble. Use this as a checkpoint and a brief respite.
  • Second Descent: The next section introduces moving spiked blocks. You'll need precise timing to weave through them while falling.
  • Electoon Cage 2: Near the bottom of the second descent, just before the final landing, there's a hidden passage behind a breakable wall on the left. Ground pound to reveal it and access the cage.
  • Lum Collection Strategy: Focus on staying in the center of the screen during descents to maximize Lum collection. Use your hover to fine-tune your position.
  • Exit: The exit is at the very bottom. Ensure you've grabbed all the Lums you can before hitting the ground.

Level 7-3: Ancient Altar

This level introduces new mechanics involving light and shadow, and requires careful observation to avoid traps.

  • Light Orbs: You'll encounter glowing Light Orbs. Punching these will temporarily illuminate sections of the level, revealing hidden platforms and enemies.
  • Electoon Cage 1: Early on, after using a Light Orb to reveal a path, you'll find the first Electoon Cage on a small, previously invisible platform.
  • Shadow Enemies: Watch out for the new Shadow Spirits. These enemies are only visible when illuminated by a Light Orb. Attack them quickly once they appear.
  • Skull Coin 1: In a section with multiple Light Orbs, activate them in sequence. One will reveal a hidden path leading downwards to a Skull Coin.
  • Moving Walls: Later in the level, you'll encounter walls that retract and extend based on Light Orb activation. Time your movements carefully.
  • Electoon Cage 2: This cage is protected by a series of Shadow Spirits and requires you to activate a Light Orb to make them vulnerable. Clear the enemies, then break the cage.
  • Lum Challenge: There's a particularly tricky Lum chain that requires you to activate a Light Orb, quickly dash across a series of platforms before they disappear, and then activate another orb to reveal the rest of the chain.
  • Exit: The final area has a large Light Orb that reveals the path to the exit. Don't rush; ensure you've explored all illuminated areas for any missed Lums.

Level 7-4: The Gauntlet of Grins (Tricky Treasure)

This Tricky Treasure level is a high-speed chase through a collapsing temple. Precision and speed are key!

  • The Chase Begins: As soon as the level starts, the treasure chest will begin its escape. You'll need to run, jump, and slide without hesitation.
  • Obstacle Course: The path is filled with crumbling platforms, swinging axes, and spiked pits. Maintain momentum and use your hover to clear larger gaps.
  • Wall-Jumping Sections: There are several vertical sections requiring rapid wall-jumps. Don't pause, as the screen will continue to scroll.
  • Timing is Everything: Pay close attention to the patterns of the swinging axes and moving platforms. A single misstep can cost you precious seconds.
  • No Electoons or Skull Coins: Like all Tricky Treasure levels, the objective is simply to catch the chest. Focus solely on navigation.
  • Catching the Chest: The chest will eventually slow down slightly near the end. Use a well-timed dash or dive-attack to catch it and claim your reward: a new Electoon!
