Before each throw, take a moment to assess the hole. Look at the distance to the basket, any obstacles (trees, water hazards), and the terrain. Plan your shots. Sometimes, a safe, shorter throw is better than a risky long shot that could land you in trouble. For long holes, aim for a good drive that sets you up for an easy approach. For shorter holes, try to get as close as possible to the basket in one throw. Learn to read the wind, if present, as it can significantly affect your disc's flight. Don't be afraid to use different discs if the course offers them, as some are better for distance, others for control.
