- Speed: Complete levels quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Damage Taken: Minimize the amount of health lost. use cover effectively.
- Bounty Collected: Ensure you pick up all dropped bounty bags from defeated enemies.
- Collect Bounty: Always pick up the glowing bounty bags dropped by defeated enemies. These contribute directly to your overall bounty score, which is used to unlock characters, weapons, and levels in the Bounty Hunter store.
- use Dead Eye: This slow-motion targeting ability is your best friend. Practice using it to clear groups of enemies or land critical headshots on tougher foes.
Bounty Hunter
The Bounty Hunter mode allows you to replay any unlocked Story Mode level with specific challenges and objectives. This is the primary method for earning significant bounty points and unlocking the game's extensive roster of characters and weapons.

- Character Selection: Different characters possess unique weapons and "Dead Eye" abilities. Experiment to find who best suits your playstyle for each level. For example, Annie Stoakes' quick reload can be advantageous in close-quarters combat, while Shadow Wolf's powerful rifle is excellent for long-range engagements.
- Weapon Upgrades: Before entering a Bounty Hunter mission, visit the "Shop" from the Main Menu. Invest your earned bounty in upgrading your preferred weapons. For Red, the "Long Colt" and "Winchester Rifle" are excellent early investments.
- Target Specific Challenges: Each Bounty Hunter level might have specific bonus objectives (e.g., "Complete without taking damage," "Achieve X headshots"). Prioritize these for maximum bounty rewards.
- Know the Level Layout: Having played the Story Mode, you should be familiar with enemy placements and cover points. Use this knowledge to your advantage to plan your attacks and minimize exposure.
Showdown (Multiplayer)
Showdown mode offers competitive multiplayer action for up to two players. This is where you can truly test your quickdraw and tactical skills against a friend.

Multiplayer Strategies:
- use Character Strengths: Each character has a unique weapon and Dead Eye ability. For instance, Jack Swift's rapid-fire revolvers are devastating up close, while General Diego's heavy machine gun can suppress opponents.
- Master the Quickdraw: In dueling scenarios, the quickdraw mechanic is paramount. Practice drawing and firing accurately as soon as the "DRAW!" prompt appears.
- Environmental Awareness: Use the environment to your advantage. Take cover behind barrels, crates, or buildings. Some arenas even have destructible elements that can be used to create new lines of sight or block enemy fire.
- Conserve Dead Eye: Your Dead Eye meter recharges over time. Don't waste it on easy targets. Save it for critical moments, like when an opponent is exposed or when you need to quickly dispatch multiple foes.
- Weapon Pickups: Keep an eye out for weapon pickups that appear in some arenas. These can give you a temporary advantage with more powerful firearms or explosives.
