Objective: Defend the ranch from the attacking bandits.
- Follow Nate Harlow: The mission starts with a tutorial on movement. Follow your father, Nate, as he guides you around the ranch.
- Grab the Pistol: Nate will instruct you to pick up a pistol from the table. This introduces you to weapon interaction.
- Shoot the Targets: Practice your aim by shooting the bottles Nate sets up. This is your first taste of combat.
- Defend the House: Bandits will begin their assault. Take cover behind the crates and use your pistol to shoot them. Aim for headshots to conserve ammo.
- Protect Nate: Nate will be fighting alongside you. Keep an eye on his health bar and eliminate any enemies that get too close to him.
- Clear the Courtyard: More waves of bandits will appear. Utilize the environment for cover and pick them off one by one. reload!
- Final Wave: A larger group will attack. Use your Dead Eye ability (R2/Right Bumper) if you get overwhelmed to quickly dispatch multiple foes.
Upon successfully defending the ranch, a cutscene will trigger, leading to the tragic events that define Red's future.
