Objective: Stop the train robbery and capture the gang leader.
- Board the Train: You'll start on horseback. Ride alongside the train and jump aboard when prompted.
- Clear the Carriages: Work your way through the train cars, eliminating the bandits. Use cover effectively as the train moves.
- Watch for Shotgunners: Some bandits will be armed with shotguns, which are deadly at close range. Prioritize them.
- Disarm the Explosives: In one of the cars, you'll find explosives planted. Interact with them to disarm them before the timer runs out.
- Confront the Leader: You'll eventually reach the lead car where the gang leader is. This will be a mini-boss fight.
- Mini-Boss Strategy: The leader is tougher than regular bandits. Use Dead Eye to target his head or weapon. He'll often take cover, so be patient and wait for openings.
- Capture/Kill: Once his health is depleted, you'll have the option to capture him (if prompted) or finish him off. Capturing often yields more bounty.
Completing this mission earns you your first significant bounty and opens up the General Store in Brimstone.
