Inside the Residence, your primary goal is to find the ingredients to create V-JOLT. This chemical is Plant 42's weakness. You'll need to locate four specific chemicals: Water, UMB No. 2, UMB No. 4, and UMB No. 7. These are found in various rooms within the Residence, often guarded by Hunters or other creatures. Once you have all four, combine them in the chemical mixing room (usually found on the second floor of the Residence). The correct combination will yield V-JOLT. With V-JOLT in hand, proceed to the room directly below Plant 42's roots (often a flooded basement area). Use the V-JOLT on the roots to severely weaken the plant, making the upcoming boss fight much easier. If you don't use V-JOLT, the fight will be significantly harder and consume much more ammunition.
