Phases & Attacks:

  • Phase 1 (Initial Encounter): Tyrant is fast and uses powerful claw swipes. It can also charge at you.
  • Phase 2 (Super Tyrant): After taking significant damage, Tyrant mutates, becoming even faster and more aggressive. It gains a devastating overhead slam attack.

Weaknesses:

  • Magnum: Your most effective weapon.
  • Acid Rounds (Jill's Bazooka): Highly damaging.
  • Rocket Launcher: The ultimate weapon, provided by Brad Vickers.

Strategy:

Phase 1: The first encounter is in a relatively confined space. Keep your distance and use your most powerful weapons. As Jill, use Acid Rounds from the Bazooka. As Chris, use the Magnum. Aim for its chest. Tyrant has a predictable charge attack; dodge it by running to the side. After it attacks, get a few shots in. Conserve your Magnum/Acid Rounds for the second phase if possible, but don't be afraid to use them if you're struggling.

Phase 2 (Helipad): This is the final confrontation. Tyrant is much faster and hits harder. Your primary goal is to survive until Brad Vickers drops the Rocket Launcher. Keep running in a wide circle around the helipad, avoiding Tyrant's attacks. Do not try to fight it head-on with conventional weapons unless absolutely necessary. When Brad drops the Rocket Launcher, quickly pick it up and fire it at Tyrant. One shot from the Rocket Launcher will instantly defeat the Tyrant and end the game. If you run out of time before the Rocket Launcher arrives, you will be killed. Focus on evasion above all else in this phase.
