Scenario B isn't just a rehash; it introduces new enemy placements, altered item locations, and even different character interactions, offering a fresh perspective on the Raccoon City incident. Leon's Scenario B Walkthrough

Leon's Scenario B picks up after Claire's initial journey through the R.P.D. station. Be prepared for a tougher challenge, as many areas you thought were safe will now be crawling with new threats.

R.P.D. Station - Initial Exploration

  • Starting Point: You begin in the Main Hall, much like Scenario A, but the layout and initial threats are different.
  • Main Hall: Head directly to the Reception area.
  • Reception:
    • Immediately deal with the two Zombies. They're in closer proximity than in Scenario A.
    • Grab the Handgun Ammo from the desk.
    • Proceed through the door to the East Office.
  • East Office:
    • Two Zombies will be waiting here. Dispatch them carefully.
    • Collect the Handgun Ammo and Green Herb from the desks.
    • The Unicorn Medal is still in the statue, but you'll need the Spade Key first.
    • Exit to the Main Hall and head for the West Office.
  • West Office:
    • Three Zombies are present here. Consider using a Shotgun if you have one, or carefully lure them out.
    • Pick up the Handgun Ammo and the Small Key from the desk.
    • Check the small office for a Green Herb.
    • The Spade Key is on the desk in the back, just as in Scenario A. Grab it.
    • Now, use the Spade Key to unlock the door leading to the Darkroom.
  • Darkroom:
    • This is your first safe room. Deposit any unnecessary items in the Item Box.
    • Develop the Film (A) found in the West Office if you haven't already, revealing a clue for a hidden item.
    • Save your game.

Unlocking the R.P.D. - Upper Floors

  • Main Hall (2F):
    • Head upstairs. You'll encounter a new Licker in the hallway leading to the Library. Be cautious; they are fast and deadly.
    • Consider using your Shotgun or Grenade Launcher for a quick kill.
  • Library:
    • Two Zombies are in here. Deal with them.
    • The Red Book is still on the table. Combine it with the Statue's Left Arm (found later) to get the Red Jewel.
    • Exit through the door to the East Storage Room.
  • East Storage Room:
    • A few Zombies are scattered here.
    • Collect the Valve Handle from the shelf. This is crucial for draining the water in the Boiler Room.
    • The Large Gear is also here, essential for the Clock Tower puzzle.

Claire's Scenario B Walkthrough

Claire's Scenario B presents a different set of challenges, often requiring more strategic use of her limited but powerful arsenal. You'll also encounter new narrative elements and characters not present in her Scenario A.

R.P.D. Station - Initial Entry

  • Starting Point: Claire begins in the Main Hall, similar to Leon, but the immediate threats are unique.
  • Main Hall:
    • Head towards the Reception area.
    • A new Zombie will burst through the window on your way. Be ready.
  • Reception:
    • Two Zombies are present. Use your Grenade Launcher with Flame Rounds for efficiency if you're feeling bold, or conserve ammo with the Bowgun.
    • Grab the Bowgun Bolts from the desk.
    • Proceed to the East Office.
  • East Office:
    • Three Zombies are here, making it a tight squeeze. Consider using a Flash Grenade to stun them before engaging.
    • Collect the Handgun Ammo and Green Herb.
    • The Unicorn Medal is still in the statue, but you'll need the Spade Key.
    • Exit to the Main Hall and head for the West Office.
  • West Office:
    • Two Lickers are now in this room. This is a significant change from Scenario A. Use your Grenade Launcher with Acid Rounds or Flame Rounds for maximum impact.
    • Pick up the Handgun Ammo and the Small Key.
    • The Spade Key is on the desk in the back. Grab it.
    • Use the Spade Key to unlock the door to the Darkroom.
  • Darkroom:
    • This is your first safe room. Organize your inventory and deposit any unneeded items.
    • Develop the Film (A) if you found it in the West Office.
    • Save your game.

R.P.D. - Unlocking the Upper Levels

  • Main Hall (2F):
    • Head upstairs. A new Zombie will be waiting at the top of the stairs.
    • Proceed towards the Library.
  • Library:
    • Three Zombies are now in the Library, making it more dangerous.
    • The Red Book is still on the table. Combine it with the Statue's Left Arm (found later) to get the Red Jewel.
    • Exit through the door to the East Storage Room.
  • East Storage Room:
    • Several Zombies are present.
    • Collect the Valve Handle from the shelf. This is crucial for draining the water in the Boiler Room.
