Achieving an S-Rank on a scenario requires completing it within a specific time limit, with minimal saves, and without using First Aid Sprays (though this last part is sometimes debated depending on the version). For Leon A/B and Claire A/B, the time limits are generally around 2:30 to 3:00 hours. Successfully achieving S-Ranks on both A and B scenarios for a character will unlock powerful bonus weapons, such as the Rocket Launcher (Infinite Ammo) for Leon and the Gatling Gun (Infinite Ammo) for Claire. These weapons make subsequent playthroughs much easier and are essential for speedrunning. Practice, memorization of routes, and efficient puzzle-solving are key.
