While Leon and Claire share many locations, their 'A' and 'B' scenarios offer distinct experiences. In 'B' scenarios, enemies are generally tougher and more numerous, and key item locations can be altered. You'll also encounter Mr. X much earlier and more frequently. The 'B' scenarios also feature different boss encounters and a slightly altered narrative perspective. Playing both 'A' and 'B' scenarios for each character is essential for the full story and unlocks the true ending.
