Layout: This is the street directly outside the subway station. It's relatively wide and often features several storefronts.
Enemies: Expect numerous standard zombies. They often shamble out from alleys or broken shop windows. Occasionally, a pack of Cerberus (zombie dogs) might appear, especially if you linger.
Key Landmarks:
- Gun Shop Kendo: While not directly related to the power cable, this is a crucial early-game location. If you haven't visited it yet, consider a detour. It offers valuable backstory and a potential weapon upgrade or ammo.
- Raccoon Press Building: Often a dead end for the power cable, but sometimes contains minor items.
Items to Find: Look for Handgun Ammo in discarded crates or on benches. Green Herbs are also common in planters or near debris.

2. Alleyways and Side Streets (Potential for Items & Danger)

Conserve Ammo: Downtown Raccoon City is a long stretch. Don't waste precious bullets on every single zombie. Learn to dodge effectively.
Prioritize Health: Keep your health in the "Fine" or "Caution" (green/yellow) range. A surprise encounter with Nemesis or a large group of zombies can quickly turn fatal if you're already in "Danger" (red).
