Walkthrough - Restaurant
Welcome to the Restaurant! This area can be tricky due to tight spaces and a few unexpected encounters. Stay alert and manage your inventory wisely.
Initial Exploration & Item Collection
Upon entering the Restaurant, you'll find yourself in the main dining area. Your first priority is to secure essential items and understand the layout.
- Dining Area:
- Immediately to your right, on one of the tables, you'll find a box of Handgun Ammo. Always useful, so grab it.
- Proceed further into the dining area. Near the back, look for a fallen chair. Beside it, on the floor, is a Green Herb. Combine this with any other herbs you might have for increased healing potential.
- There are several tables and overturned furniture. Be cautious as you navigate; a few Zombies might be playing dead or will shamble in from the kitchen area once you trigger them.
- Kitchen:
- Head towards the back of the restaurant, through the swinging doors, to enter the kitchen.
- On the counter directly in front of you as you enter, you'll spot a box of Shotgun Shells. If you have the Shotgun, this is a crucial pickup.
- To the left of the counter, near the sink, there's a First Aid Spray. This is a full heal, so save it for emergencies if possible, or use it to top off your health if you've taken significant damage.
- Be prepared! As you collect items in the kitchen, a Zombie will likely burst through the door leading to the back alley. Deal with it quickly, aiming for headshots to conserve ammo.
The Back Alley & Key Item
After clearing the kitchen, proceed through the door the zombie came from. This leads to a small, grimy back alley.
- Alley Exploration:
- As you step into the alley, look immediately to your left. You'll see some overflowing trash bins. Tucked away beside them is a Blue Herb. This herb cures poison, which can be invaluable later on.
- Continue down the short alley. At the very end, near a locked gate, you'll find a crucial item: the Restaurant Key. This key is essential for progressing through Raccoon City.
- Return to the Restaurant:
- Once you have the Restaurant Key, head back into the kitchen and then into the main dining area.
- You might encounter another Zombie or two that have stirred from their slumber. Dispatch them efficiently.
Exiting the Restaurant
With the Restaurant Key in hand and all valuable items collected, it's time to leave this establishment.
- Head back to the main entrance of the Restaurant.
- Before you exit, ensure your inventory is organized. If you're low on space, consider combining herbs or discarding less critical items if you're absolutely full.
- The Restaurant Key will be used shortly to unlock a new path in the city.
Strategy Tip: The Restaurant is a relatively small area. Try to lure zombies into open spaces for easier targeting, or use the quick turn (R1 + Down on D-Pad) to evade them if you're trying to conserve ammo. Don't linger too long once you have the key, as resources are always limited in Raccoon City.
